Living in Style

In the monastery of Arequipa one can discover astonishing things of about half a century of well kept secrets. The nuns living there had no contact to the outside world but lived a live in style - as you would expect from upper class girls. Just amazing some of the contrasts you get confronted with: not to posess a mirror - it could lead you to vanity. But have your own "house", furniture imported from Europe and - if you were a high class nun - your servants, not a problem.
The price was high tough; the only man who was allowed to see you was the doctor. Must have been a sick world...
